: : Black History Month Study : :
Join us Tuesday nights in February as we remember our shared history and discuss its impact on us today. We will be watching clips from the documentary "Eyes on the Prize" about the Civil Rights Movement. We will follow with discussion on the video and on scripture. Come to the church at 6 pm for pizza; the discussion starts at 6:30 pm.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette recently did an article that featured Friendship Church as an example of cross-cultural community. Click here to read about how God can bridge the gaps that divide us in a way that no one else can.

Friendship Community Church is located in West Oakland, on the edge of both the Hill District and the University of Pittsburgh campus. We are a body of people who love Jesus, love our neighbors, and value faith and good works with an emphasis on multiethnicity, social justice, and racial reconciliation.
